F. J. Carey, III Antiques has been in business since 1973 serving decorators, private collectors, museums, and house restorations. We are prepared to assist in acquiring and evaluating pieces in any number of ways.

     Museums we have sold to include: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Winterthur, Department of State, Minneapolis Museum of Art, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Maryland Historical Society, Baltimore Museum of Art, Bayou Bend, Houston Museum of Art.  Governor’s mansions in Pennsylvania, Washington, New Jersey, and Georgia have purchased pieces for display.

J Carey, III Antiques specializes in American Furniture and accessories made between 1740 and 1840 and Chinese Export Porcelain of the same period.  The accessories include: Mantles, Andirons and Fireplace equipment, Lighting (mostly early 19th century), Paintings, Mirrors and other objects used during this period.
